This log cabin, along the South Fork of the Rio Grande River in South Fork, Colorado, is a fantastic place for a peaceful relaxing vacation or a exciting adventure. Casa Paredes has 6 spacious bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 3 living areas, within 3 floors. It is awesome with an upstairs deck ground floor patio and steps leading down to the South Fork River.  You can fish the river, but you will need a fishing license to do so. TV and VCR are provided but no satellite or antenna for regular viewing so you must rent movies or bring your own. Within 20 miles of the Wolf Creek Ski Area. 5 miles to the Rio Grande Club Golf Coarse. 4 miles to the Beaver Creek Reservoir. 2 miles out of South Fork. (South, West) Easily accessed during the winter months. The edge of the National Forest is within a short walking distance. The Continental Divide trail is a short drive away and is always a beautiful hike. The area also has rock climbing, ice climbing, great mountain bike trails, fishing, awesome ATV trails and skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area "the most snow in Colorado". Bright and sunny living area with lots of windows.  This house really has the personal touch.   It has 3 levels for extra privacy when with a group.   The top floor has 2 bedrooms with 2 full beds in each room and one bathroom, also a children's reading nook, complete with a sink! The main floor consists of the living room, den, kitchen, master bedroom with a king size bed and full bath.  The kitchen is completely furnished along with the dining table and a dishwasher .  The cabin main floor has a beautiful porch running along three sides offering a wonderful sitting area on the river side of the cabin and shares the view of the South Fork of the Rio Grande River with the lower level porch which has a swing for your enjoyment. The downstairs den area has a foosball table for the kid in you, or you might have to share with the actual kids in your group. This room has a futon sofa and a TV and VCR set. The washroom is equipped with a washer and dryer and all linens and bath towels are furnished.

This cabin has a wood burning stove.  It is a great way to warm yourself up after a long day on the slopes.   The kitchen, living room and dining area are all open which allows for a great place to entertain.

Follow the steps down to the river for easy access to the beautiful sights and sounds. There is a picnic area with a table and a couple of benches that sit along the river for your enjoyment.  The cabin is located on the South Fork River.  You can fish but you do need a fishing license.
